Information
The word Poké is derived from the Hawaiian meaning of "to cut into small pieces". The classic Poké bowl is a simple, but fresh and very nutritious dish, traditionally based on raw fish (usually tuna), a base of rice and ingredients such as spring onion, sesame seeds and a marinade of soy sauce which is served in bowls. A Poké bowl combines the flavours of Japan, Polynesia and the US West Coast.
