Information
Like elsewhere in the Middle-East, Israeli cuisine is known for its colour, freshness and flavour. Unlike other Middle Eastern cuisines, however, Israeli cuisine is hugely underrepresented in Berlin, so to get a taste of Israel, Djimalaya is the place to be.
Djimalaya's menu features a wide selection of delicious, authentic hummuses, studded with chickpeas and drizzled with oil and herbs. You’ll also find a selection of hearty grilled meats, fish and tasty vegetables - great for sharing with friends and loved ones. All recipes, such as for their splendid chicken shashlik, bulgur or pita are classics from Israel and are served true to the original.
The ambience of Djimalaya makes the restaurant a really special place to spend a few hours. Cosy and homely, yet modern and stylish, they’ve managed to create a restaurant with the perfect atmosphere for sharing a relaxed meal. The restaurant is also known for its fantastic handmade drinks like the freshly squeezed beetroot-apple-lemon juice or the lemon-ginger limo, or maybe a real Israeli wine? We’ll take all three, please!
