In 2015, the Bantabaa Food Dealer project started in the surroundings of the Görlitzer Park and was initiated by social workers and West African refugees. The latter brought their culinary traditions with them when they fled to Europe and now offer them as part of this snack and kitchen initiative. Among the classics in the restaurant are the intensely tasting soups. These are made from, for example, coconut milk, tomatoes, okra, spinach and peanut paste. The Bantabaa Food Dealer Restaurant offers many of these dishes both vegetarian and vegan. But a sumptuous West African dinner also includes rice. It is spiced strongly as Benechin or Jolof varieties and served with crispy fried fish. Crispy chicken is also popular - either with rice or with peanut-based Domoda stew. A typical side dish is also yassa onions fried in oil, manioc and plantains. As a small snack DiscoEat recommends for example the tasty dumplings with different fillings. In the Bantabaa Food Dealer Restaurant you can also mix fruity cocktails.
